TAP Recovery

Training Is
Only Half
The Process.

The elite standard in athletic development has always included one thing most gyms overlook: intentional recovery. Pushing the body to its limits is only productive when the body has what it needs to adapt and come back stronger. That process doesn't happen in the gym. It happens after.

At TAP, recovery is not an add-on. It is part of the program. We have invested in the same tools used by professional sports organizations to help our athletes recover faster, stay healthier, and sustain the output that elite performance demands.

Access to the TAP recovery room is available as a standalone monthly membership or included with select training packages.

Faster Adaptation

The body gets stronger during recovery, not during training. Optimizing that window accelerates every gain made in the gym.

Injury Prevention

Recovered athletes get hurt less. Fatigue and incomplete recovery are leading contributors to overuse injury and performance decline.

Sustained Performance

Consistent output over a long season requires consistent recovery. One without the other is not a performance program — it's attrition.

Normatech

Recovery That
Works While
You Rest.

Normatech uses sequential pneumatic compression to replicate and amplify the body's natural muscle pump — driving circulation, clearing metabolic waste, and reducing inflammation in a fraction of the time passive rest alone would take. Sit back, let it work, and come back to the next session ready to perform at the same level or better.

Sequential Compression

Pneumatic chambers inflate in sequence from the foot upward, mimicking and amplifying the body's natural muscle pump to drive blood flow through fatigued tissue.

Inflammation Reduction

Clears lactic acid and other metabolic byproducts from muscle tissue — the primary driver of post-training soreness and the main barrier to back-to-back high-quality sessions.

Pre & Post Training

Used before a session to prime blood flow and loosen tissue, or after to accelerate recovery. Either way the result is the same — an athlete who is more prepared for the next session.

Professional Grade

The same Normatech systems used by professional sports organizations, Olympic programs, and elite recovery centers worldwide — now available at TAP as part of your training.

Cold Tub

The Fastest
Recovery Tool
Is Also The
Coldest One.

Cold water immersion is one of the most well-researched recovery modalities in sports science. Submersion in cold water triggers rapid vasoconstriction — tightening blood vessels and flushing inflammatory byproducts out of fatigued muscle tissue. When the body rewarms, blood rushes back in carrying oxygen and nutrients. The result is faster recovery, reduced soreness, and an athlete who is ready to go again sooner.

Vasoconstriction & Flush

Cold immersion tightens blood vessels and flushes metabolic waste from muscle tissue. As the body rewarns, vessels dilate and blood rushes back in — delivering oxygen and nutrients to recovering tissue.

Inflammation Control

Rapidly reduces acute inflammation following intense training — shortening the window of post-session soreness and allowing athletes to train at full intensity sooner.

Nervous System Reset

Cold immersion activates the parasympathetic nervous system — shifting the body out of the stress state produced by training and into the rest-and-repair state where adaptation happens.

Mental Resilience

Consistent cold exposure builds stress tolerance and mental toughness — qualities that transfer directly to competition. Getting comfortable with discomfort is part of elite development.

Pro tip

Pair It with Normatech for Contrast Therapy

Alternating between cold immersion and Normatech compression creates one of the most effective recovery protocols in sports science — the contrast between cold and compression amplifies the circulatory flush effect of both modalities individually.

Infrared Sauna

Warmth That
Goes Deeper
Than The Surface.

Unlike traditional saunas that heat the air around you, infrared saunas emit light that penetrates directly into muscle and joint tissue — reaching up to three inches below the skin. The result is a deeper, more targeted recovery response at a more comfortable temperature, with benefits that include increased circulation, reduced muscle tension, accelerated detoxification, and a measurable reduction in post-training soreness.

Add Recovery to Your Program

Deep Tissue Penetration

Infrared light reaches up to three inches into muscle and joint tissue — well beyond what surface heat from traditional saunas or hot tubs can achieve — targeting recovery at the source.

Circulation Enhancement

Infrared heat elevates heart rate and expands blood vessels, increasing circulation and delivering oxygen-rich blood to fatigued tissue — accelerating the natural repair process.

Muscle Relaxation

Heat reduces muscle tension and stiffness accumulated during training — loosening tissue, easing joint mobility, and leaving athletes feeling physically reset after each session.

Detoxification

Sweating at infrared wavelengths expels metabolic waste and inflammatory byproducts more effectively than conventional heat — clearing the system and supporting faster full-body recovery between sessions.

Traditional Sauna
  • Heats the air around you
  • 180 – 220°F operating temperature
  • Surface-level heat only
  • Less tolerable for extended sessions
Infrared Sauna
  • Heats your body directly
  • 120 – 150°F operating temperature
  • Penetrates up to 3 inches into tissue
  • More comfortable for longer sessions
